On the central street of the village, you will find restaurants, traditional taverns and cafeterias, where you can taste the local specialties and international cuisine dishes, by the sea. At the village you will find mini markets, tourist stores and Sifnian pottery shops.

In the wider region it is worth visiting:

• Panagia Chrisopigi (The Virgin Mary of Chrisopigi): It is an image that you will remember forever. The monastery of Chrisopigi is built on the rock, bathed in the sun light.
• Apokofto: It is the beach next to Chrisopigi with crystal clear, sea green waters
• Panagia Vouno (The Virgin Mary of the Mountain): Right before you get to Platis Gialos, follow the road signs to Panagia Vouno. It is a monastery that dates back to 1813 with a beautiful yard under the shadow of green pine trees, with a unique view of the beach of Platis Gialos.
