Hotels - Kerkira (Corfu) - Rooms to let Casa Lucia
Since 1981 Casa Lucia has been a meeting point for holiday makers, workshop holidays and the local community. Its unique atmosphere, its tranquillity and liberal attitude appeal to all ages, all nationalities, to families, individuals and groups. Many friendships have been forged here, people come back year after year, children have grown up and return with their children.
Casa Lucia is in the centre of the island making it an ideal starting point for exploring the whole of Corfu.
It is run by Val Osborne-Androutsopoulou, and her daughter Zoë Valerie (nee Androutsopoulou).

Corfu's famous greenery is due to the winter rains, it can pour for days, but it snows maybe only once a year, so that is quite an event. Temperatures do dip down below zero frequently at night, but rise to about 12 C during the day in the coldest months, sometimes a lot higher with bright sunshine - and the clarity and brightness of many winter days make glorious weather for walking, cycling, sailing, even swimming and other outdoor activities.
Christmas is low-key without the commercial hype of other countries; New Year is the day for present-giving and partying. Then comes Carnival which is three weeks of mayhem, followed by the run-up to Easter when the whole island wakes up to the fact that the new tourist season is almost here.
